Dark-colored PVC profiles — anthracite, charcoal, black — absorb solar radiation significantly in Texas, Florida, and Arizona's sustained heat, which can cause irreversible frame deformation. When the frame warps, gaskets stop sealing under compression and the thermal and acoustic performance you purchased is no longer being delivered — and cannot be restored.
